Stealth Power Partners With Indiana University Health!

March 21, 2019

Stealth Power continues its partnership with Indiana University Health, by replacing their ambulances' generators and improving their environmental footprint.

Stealth Power and Indiana Health University will continue the partnership they initiated in 2017. Stealth Power is set to replace the diesel generators of critical care mobile intensive care units (MICUs). During emergency situations, MICUs rely on backup diesel generators to provide power in the event of loss of the vehicle's battery and engine power.  The replacement of these diesel generators with the Stealth Power EMS system provides a more efficient and reliable source of emergency power, while eliminating harmful greenhouse gases and reducing fuel and maintenance costs.

These MICUs are part of IU Health's Lifeline medical transport program. This program is the most comprehensive transport program in Indiana, is affiliated with two Level I trauma centers, and has five base locations throughout Indiana, Eastern Illinois, and Western Ohio. Through the continuation of this generator replacement program, Indiana University Health will improve its ambulances' reliability, lower its carbon footprint, and increase its units' operational efficiency.
