Mid-To-Senior Electrical Engineer

Stealth Power delivers best-in-class idle-mitigation, mobile power, and clean energy technology solutions to our customers. We develop and manufacture battery-based power systems for vehicle fleets, along with hybrid power systems for remote locations, and stand-alone clean energy systems (wind, solar, etc) that can scale to meet even the most demanding requirements.

Stealth Power is actively searching for a senior level electrical engineer who is motivated to help drive wider adoption of the green technologies that we create. Electrical engineering responsibilities will include developing new power systems and printed circuit boards (PCB’s) in collaboration with technical design teams, analyzing existing electrical systems and making cost-effective improvements, conducting research, designing testing methods, completing quality assurance, inspecting equipment, running diagnostics, as well as effectively and efficiently troubleshooting systems. This position will occasionally require travel (in some cases the travel could be unaccompanied, and up to a week in duration) in order to help key partners in the implementation of new/improved technology solutions.

About This Role

  • Developing, reviewing, updating, changing and approving electrical design plans and build schedules.
  • Updating and keeping current all product electrical schematics, including AC and DC power configurations.
  • Maintaining and improving existing engineering processes.
  • Drawing up budgets, schedules, company regulations, and various other documents.
  • Analyzing existing processes and scheduling meetings to discuss improvement initiatives.
  • Conducting research, performing diagnostics, and troubleshooting equipment.
  • Consulting with clients and other engineers to ensure projects are completed to specifications.
  • Participating in conferences, events, and networking and learning opportunities.
  • Ensuring a safe, positive work environment.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
  • Five (5) years of professional experience.
  • Ability to travel when required (unaccompanied and sometimes at short notice)
  • Willingness to acquire additional licenses or certifications, if necessary.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Practical experience with wiring schematic, board designs and CAD software.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent motivational skills and multitasking abilities.
